Notes on Blindness. A remarkable documentary based on the life of writer and theologian John Hull, who lost his sight in 1983. Brilliantly making use of material from Hull's audio diaries, it's a wonderfully imaginative exploration of a condition most of us would hope never to experience, but which – as the film movingly reveals – Hull eventually comes to accept as a unique gift.
