The annual boxing day cricket match was cancelled because of the weather, but we were able to hold a mulled wine event at the pavilion to celebrate the opening of our splendid new bar and kitchen extensions (thanks Olly Hall). Watch this space for more news.
Newnham CC are seeking kind donations of unwanted tables and chairs, preferably matching, to furnish their new bar facilities. If you can help, please contact Dan or Dave, telephone numbers blow.
We play in our superbly positioned and well appointed ground just outside the village of Newnham on Severn at the end of Unlawater Lane. We have a well maintained playing surface and a licensed bar.
We play at all levels from Veterans to Under 9s, and have a well qualified team of junior coaches to secure the future of our club.
Our senior XI play in County League 6 and in the Forest of Dean Mid Week League, and we play friendly Sunday and mid week fixtures against local and visiting touring teams.
