Junior Cricket in Newnham 2010

The club has embarked on an ambitious programme of developing end expanding junior cricket, where the future of the club lies. For the first time, we will be offering the long form of the game (40 overs, 11 a side) at under 13 level. We are the only club from west Gloucestershire competing in this advanced form of cricket in the Gloucesteshire Youth Competition

We have a full fixture list at Under 11 level, 3 teams in Under 13 cricket (Newnham A & B in the West of Severn League and the team in the County Youth League), and an Under 15 XI in the Leadon Vale League.

We have arranged a meeting with Steve Silk, the Development Officer at Gloucestershire County Cricket Board to consider partnership and development opportunities.
